Kendrick Lamar is one of many artists to release a highly anticipated album over the last month, just in time for summer touring. The same day that Lamar released his fifth full-length album “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers” he unveiled the dates to a massive tour that will kick off July 19.
The 34 year-old rapper, who won the Pulitzer Prize for his 2017 album “Damn,” will begin his “Big Steppers” trek in North America — hitting major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Boston, Austin and Portland — before heading to Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The five-month, 36-city trek will close out in December.
While general onsale tickets went live on oklama.com on May 20, there are plenty of ways to snag tickets before they sell out. Tickets are currently available on resale sites such as Vivid Seats, Stubhub and Ticketmaster for as low as $96.
Tickets are likely to go fast, considering how long it’s been since Lamar has released new music. While his most recent performance was at the Super Bowl halftime show in February, but he hasn’t toured since 2019.
