Moodymann Suffers Severe Injury In Car Crash, Cancels Heaps Of Shows

Legendary electronic music producer Moodymann has unfortunately been caught up in a severe car incident earlier this week and has been injured.

His record label, Mahogani Music, shared the news on Instagram with a statement that stated that Kenny Dixon Jr. had been hurt in the accident alongside "another cherished member of our Mahogani Music Family".

"We regret to inform you that Moodymann along with another cherished member of our Mahogany Music family were injured in a severe auto incident.

"Unfortunately he will not be able to perform in tonight's @wherearemykeys_at show.

"We hope you understand and we apologize for any inconvenience this regrettable circumstance may cause."

The label also issued a follow-up post, stating, "Everyone involved in the collision is on the road to recovery. Please allow us the time and space to heal. Unfortunately, we must cancel some upcoming tour dates. We will update the calendar as time goes on."

Moodymann has several big bookings across June in Europe, including scheduled performances at OFFSonar, Parklife Festival and Paraiso Festival.
