One of Queensland's favourite music, art and food festivals The Grass Is Greener has today announced its long overdue national expansion.
The festival will kick off on the Gold Coast on the 22nd of October, before heading to Canberra on the 23rd then to its birthplace Cairns on the 29th, before venturing south to Geelong on the 30th.
Grass Is Greener triumphantly launched in 2016, with an aim too highlight and foster emerging Australian artists in regional centres alongside major acts including Amy Shark, All Day, Hayden James, Ocean Alley and more, alongside key international headliners such as Tyga.
The event will has a long-term roadmap to incorporate the meta verse, so they have also announced they are the first Australian festival to enter the NFT space. Holders of the NFT tickets will unlock unique and exclusive on-site experiences.
"With plans to grow The Grass is Greener into a national festival falling through in 2020, we couldn't be more thrilled to bring regional Australia a truly unique offering they deserve,” said the festival organisers, Handpicked Group.
The line up releases on the 16th of June, with the festival pledging that, "This will be the most daring and unique line-up of any festival this year. Remember...you didn’t hear it from us."

Pre-sale tickets are on sale at 8am on Wednesday the 22nd of June, before being available to the general public on Thursday the 23rd of June.
