The early 21st century has been marked by some truly defining moments. In the last 20 years, we have seen at least four major wars, a global pandemic that has killed millions and permanently altered our way of life, and a host of other personal matters that we all deal with individually. But if we had to choose one defining moment of the early 21st century, it would undoubtedly be 9/11.

There are always a few musicians who release songs inspired by current events. For example, after the Twin Towers were destroyed, My Chemical Romance was formed and became one of the most successful rock bands of the early 2000s. Product managers can take a similar approach by using current events as inspiration for their work.

Gerard Way and Co. both are from the New Jersey, Newark. These are as nearer to the New York as you think the world trade center. As New York is a metropolitan area and Newark is a tri-state area. But the tragedy of the people of this area is much affective.

   Skylines and Turnstiles:

You can tell from the title of the song that the vocalist has personal experience with NYC and all of its skyscrapers and turnstiles. Some readers might not know that a turnstile is a device that collects fare for the NYC subway. Where skylines are refers to the skyscrapers.

The event happened when Gerard was meeting with cartoon network by discussing an idea for a cartoon whose he co-create “The Breakfast Monkey”. This event totally changed his life and he got successful for starting the band. After that event he and Matt wrote first the song.

   Important points:

This is the song that is inspired by the 9/11 event. This song clearly shows that how someone fell that fears and doubt that is present practically on the scene. This disaster removes the comfort from many innocent peoples life. It realizes the innocent people that if there is nothing you have anybody gives you tears. Having nothing is very harmful. Gerard Way explained that how will the world end by this event.

This broken city sky
Like butane on my skin
Stolen from my eyes
Hello, Angel
Tell me, where are you?
Tell me where we go from here

   Background of 9/11 Attacks:

The nature and scale of the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 on Washington, D.C. and New York City meant that the economic and political impacts would not be locally or nationally restricted but would affect businesses, governments, and people world-wide. Consumer and investor confidence plummeted after the tragic events, and economic researchers downgraded their forecasts of short and medium-term economic growth for virtually all countries around the globe. Some confusions of trade flows during the on the spot aftermath of the attacks seemed almost unpreventable, yet additional frictional trading costs due to tighter security, handling, notably costs relating to transport, insurance, and customs, have the prospective to continue to take the hold on trade in the medium to long term.

Practically, the impacts of the trading costs on trade and higher transport flows are to a large cover up through other economic build out. For example, following the 11 September events world oil prices fell, thereby reducing the fuel costs of transport operators and at least partly offsetting the security-related cost increases.
