It wasn't about fame, fortune, or the size of Blink's success; it was more like a determination to overcome challenges together and come out on top," DeLonge expressed, while Hoppus humorously remarked, "I got tired of hearing Tom's relentless positivity, to be honest."

However, reuniting wasn't a straightforward process, as Hoppus explained that his vocal cords had suffered due to chemotherapy.

"Getting back on stage at Coachella required working extensively with a vocal coach," Hoppus shared regarding their April performance. "When the three of us are up there, I feel invincible. We truly excel."

Barker shared his agreement, stating, "I always believed that our brotherhood would never deteriorate or disappear. To me, Blink consists of the three of us, and as long as we acknowledge that and refuse to settle for anything less, that's the way forward."

DeLonge chimed in, saying, "For me, it always weighed heavily on my heart that our friendship needed repairing. We've all endured personal tragedies now, experiences that can really shatter your heart, and we've had to mend those pieces and become better versions of ourselves."

The group delves into these emotions in the title track of their upcoming album. Barker explained, "The song is about why it takes catastrophes like my plane crash or Mark's illness for our band to reunite."

"Being in a band with my brothers, being in good health, having fun, delivering some of our best performances, and creating some of our finest music," Barker continued, "it's all a result of the healing power of this band. This music and this album, I literally find myself tearing up on stage every night," added Hoppus.
