Justin Timberlake delighted fans by sharing a video that shows him reuniting with his NSYNC bandmates, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick, as they worked on their first new single in years. The song, titled "Better Place," is part of the upcoming Trolls: Band Together soundtrack.

In an Instagram post, Timberlake offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their studio session and announced the release date of "Better Place," which is set for September 29. He wrote, "When the stars align… got my brothers back together in the studio to work on something fun and the energy was special. Better Place is coming 9/29 ???????? LOVE Y’ALL."

Timberlake revealed that the idea to record this song came about unexpectedly. He said, "So many stars aligned, that's why I hit y'all. I was like, 'Hey, something came up.' If we do this song, it's a love letter to our fans. I would be honored to have the group on this song."

The video captured the excitement in the studio as each member contributed vocals to the track. As the song played in the background, Chris Kirkpatrick expressed his approval, saying, "Sounds good, sounds like it's finished."

Lance Bass couldn't help but reflect on the passage of time since they last made music together, noting that this was the first NSYNC song completed in 23 years.

The announcement of "Better Place" came shortly after NSYNC's highly anticipated reunion at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, where they made a brief but iconic appearance on stage. This performance marked the group's first live performance together since 2013 when they joined Justin Timberlake during his Video Vanguard performance.

The song "Better Place" will be featured in support of the upcoming film, Trolls: Band Together, in which Justin Timberlake voices the character Branch. NSYNC's reunion and new music have been an exciting treat for their dedicated fanbase.
