Taylor Swift has unveiled the tracklist and back cover art for her upcoming re-recording of "1989 (Taylor's Version)," sending Swifties into a frenzy of excitement. The singer shared the news on Instagram, expressing her anticipation for the release and thanking her fans for their enthusiastic participation in the lead-up to the announcement.

"Get ready, Swifties! I'm thrilled to reveal the back covers and vault track titles for '1989 (my version).' I can't wait for this album to be out; seriously, the excitement is real! Thank you all for joining in the fun, solving the puzzles, and making these reveals so delightfully chaotic (the best kind of fun, of course ????). ????: @bethgarrabrant," the 33-year-old artist captioned her post, accompanied by summer-themed images.

"1989 (Taylor's Version)" will include all 16 original and bonus tracks from the 2014 album. The big reveal is the vault tracks, which are titled "Is It Over Now?," "Now That We Don’t Talk," "Say Don’t Go," "Suburban Legends," and a song intriguingly named "Slut!"

One notable change this time around is the absence of any featured artists, effectively putting to rest the internet's speculation about a collaboration with Nicki Minaj. This speculation had arisen following Swift and the "Super Bass" rapper's interaction at the 2023 MTV VMAs.

Back in August, Taylor Swift announced her plans to release "1989 (Taylor's Version)" during her final performance of the Los Angeles Eras Tour, which also marked the conclusion of the U.S. leg of the tour. She cleverly noted that the date, August 9th, aligns with the album's title, as it falls on the eighth month of the year and the ninth day.

Swift confirmed the exciting news on Instagram, saying, "Surprise!! '1989 (Taylor’s Version)' is coming to you soon ????! The '1989' album has had a profound impact on my life in so many ways, and I'm filled with excitement to announce that my re-recorded version will be available on October 27th. To be completely honest, this has been my favorite re-record so far because the five tracks from the vault are simply incredible. It's hard to believe they were ever left behind, but not for much longer! You can pre-order '1989 (Taylor’s Version)' on my website ????????????, ????: @bethgarrabrant," she enthusiastically shared.
