Anne Hathaway expressed her excitement and desire for a potential collaboration with Meryl Streep once again. Speaking to ET's Rachel Smith at the premiere of her latest film, "She Came to Me," Hathaway revealed her hopes for another project with her former co-star from "The Devil Wears Prada."

Hathaway exclaimed, "Oh my gosh, I would absolutely love that! I wish, I wish, I wish. She's incredibly busy."

Although there are no confirmed projects in the pipeline at the moment, Hathaway and Streep recently reunited at The Clooney Foundation for Justice's Albie Awards held at the New York Public Library.

Reflecting on the event, Hathaway commented, "Wasn't it fantastic that Versace was one of the sponsors for the evening? I was already extremely proud to work with the company, and that, along with Donatella Versace's recent speech in Italy emphasizing the importance of human rights and LGBTQIA rights, makes me feel deeply honored to collaborate with them."

Currently, Hathaway is dedicated to promoting "She Came to Me," an independent film she both produced and starred in. The film, granted a waiver amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, revolves around a creatively blocked composer portrayed by Peter Dinklage, who seeks inspiration at the encouragement of his wife, played by Hathaway.

Hathaway shared her hopes for what audiences will take away from the film, saying, "One of the things she hopes audiences take away from this [is the] idea that it's never too late. It's never too late to do something crazy. It's never too late to find yourself. It's never too late to get lost. It's never too late to be who you are."

This project aligns with the kind of movies Hathaway is passionate about being a part of. She expressed, "We don't see many movies these days about people simply trying to figure things out. Typically, we get films about superheroes, building, destroying, rebuilding cities, time travel, which is fantastic and enjoyable... I appreciate movies like that, but I want to ensure that films like this still hold a place in our culture, our lives, and especially in our theaters. I'm genuinely thrilled to be a part of this one."
