TLC's Chilli Is Going to Be a Grandmother: Son Tron Austin Expecting First Baby

TLC's Chilli, whose real name is Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, is set to become a grandmother as her son, Tron Austin, and his wife, Jeong Ah Wang, are expecting their first child—a baby girl due in March 2024. Tron shared the exciting news on his Instagram, where he also shared the name they've chosen for their daughter, Luna Wang Austin.

Tron's Instagram post featured a birth announcement photo with syringes and medication bottles, symbolizing their journey through in vitro fertilization (IVF). The onesie in the picture carries the message, "Made with a lot of faith & a little science."

In his heartfelt post, Tron expressed his pride in his wife, Jeong Ah Wang, for her resilience throughout their fertility journey. He detailed the challenges they faced, including medical procedures like Hysterosalpingography (HSG), hysteroscopy, and surgeries to remove tubes and scar tissue from hernia and appendicitis, as well as an egg retrieval and a miscarriage.

Tron's message conveyed his anticipation and joy at becoming parents, emphasizing that their journey through IVF had tested and blessed them over a year and a half. He concluded with a sweet anniversary message to his wife.

Earlier this year, Chilli spoke about her son Tron's approval of her new relationship with Matthew Lawrence, emphasizing how important his opinion is to her. Chilli and Matthew had publicly confirmed their romance in January, with Chilli praising her partner for being everything she could wish for.
